We Chat to Emma Bannister, Founder of Presentation Studio
March 23rd, 2011
If it can be done in PowerPoint, Emma knows how to do it! She works tirelessly towards her goal of teaching users across the globe how to use PowerPoint to maximise its full potential, and deliver winning presentations.
So what are your favourite new features in PowerPoint 2010?
1. New Visual ‘Artistic Effects’
A fantastic range of visual artistic effects that can be added to your photographs within PowerPoint 2010. Wonderful if you are not a PhotoShop whizz!
2. Animation Painter
Finally! Yes, we can now copy a sequence of animations you have built to a new object. This function saves me hours!
3. Sharing Presentations on the Web
Publish your presentation so your audience can review or print at their leisure. Using Windows Live ID you place the presentation in a public or private folder and send a link by email or embed a code on your blog/ website. Click Here to see one of our own PowerPoint Presentations published and shared using Windows Live.
4. Video Formatting/ Video Creation
Simple video editing is now easy within PowerPoint! You can trim the ends off a video or change the poster frame so you don’t start your slide with a boring black screen. I also love the new ability to save the whole presentation as a video that includes your narration, timings & animation. Perfect if you want to share your presentation on YouTube!
